Today marks the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. The astronomical time is 10:31p Sunday night. There are many ways to honor, or acknowledge how this day is different. The most traditional way in yoga is by performing Sun Salutations. You may do as many as you wish, and as many as your body is comfortable with, or you may choose to honor the Solstice with 108. You may also choose to do something completely different, watch the sunset, walk in nature, make sun tea, or whatever it is that makes the day different and special for YOU. Take time to mark the day. Life is made up of many days, make each as special as you can
