We've all begun to miss the people we saw with such regularity that their absence, at first, went unnoticed, but has now begun to wear on us. Or the doorman you've seen around for a decade and you high-five to greet each other. Or the consoling bartender who always remembers your drink but never your name. It's the people whose contact info we don't have but who played an integral (and predictable) part in our social lives.
