Merry Christmas to you! From the bottom of our hearts we want to say THANK YOU! Yesterday I took this picture of our baby Josiah while he was hanging a Christmas ornament. He's 1 year and 6 months old. And as a dad, husband and owner of a restaurant there's nothing that matters more to me than to being able to put food on the table for my family and that my workers can put food on their table for their families. Literally, each and everyone who orders from us and shares our... posts is helping me provide for my family and for the families of our workers. We haven't fired a single employee from our restaurant as a result of this pandemic. We are fighting with sweat and blood to survive but more importantly we are fighting to treat others like we would like to be treated if we were working for someone else. We are fighting for our workers and we are fighting so our local community of Fenton doesn't loses their local businesses like us. So I truly THANK YOU for your support! This has been the most challenging year in our 15 year history but I can honestly say that we aren't alone. One of out of 6 restaurants this year have closed even with PPP loans issued at the beginning of the year. The new lockdowns mandated in several cities and states without any additional government help are threatening to make that figure a lot worse. St. Louis County just ordered 2 additional weeks of lockdowns and though they might not say it openly for fear of an open revolution they are probably planning several more extensions till probably the end of January. Update: We are making progress and we can't thank enough those who have donated to our GoFundme, placed a delivery order directly on our website and have SHARED OUR POSTS. We are facing an existential threat and short of some sort of miracle we will be going out of business if the lockdown is extended by St. Louis County.... Our sales were down 80% since the new forced closures but now thanks to your support they are down between 40 to 50% ( it is still not enough to keep our doors open but it has helped us reduce our cash burn). We applied for a St. Louis County grant and if received we will lower our GoFundMe goal by $5,000. Only 62 people have donated out of our 12,500 followers. I want to believe that there are more people interested on our survival in our community. Years from now I want you to be able to look back and know you saved a local staple from going under. We have been open for 15 years and we would have done great without the pandemic so please don't judge us for going out into the community and asking for help.
