A new study from the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders has shown "quite promising" results. A blood pressure drug called propranolol has shown potential in treating some autism symptoms, especially anxiety. Dr. David Beversdorf of the Thompson Center states that propranolol could provide "critical support" for tailoring autism treatment. This research has been featured by Healio, the Cleveland Clinic, the American Academy of Neurology, and more.
