Have you ever missed an event, that you had circled on the calendar, wrote special notes, ask friends to remind you. I have, and was I ever disappointed when that happened. No matter how I wanted to back up time, I never could get the job done. It was a loss in my life. God has set aside Sunday’s to be a special day in our lives. A day of fellowship, a day of worship, a day of the study of His word, and yes, a day of rest. When we miss church that day we can never get it back, it is a loss in our lives. Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. How about right now, circle Sunday on the calendar, write a special note, ask friends to remind you. Don’t miss the greatest event in your life this coming Sunday..

ok all you Baptist out there, i know you are setting on"GO" so on your mark, get set, let's go to church this Sunday- at third street we will begin at 9:00 AM with a PANCAKE AND SAUSAGE BREAFAST- FOLLOWED BY Sunday school at 9:30 AM, then on to worship at 10:45 AM - Hey come on lets do it......

HAPPY NEW YEAR - what that may mean is a new beginning, a new start over. my new start happened in 1976, when i understood that i was separated away from God because of my sin. the bible says to us, " for all have sinned and fall short of God's glory... i fully agree with this truth. the bible explains, for the wages of sin is death.. my sin separated me away from God. i ask God to forgive me of my sin, i didn't deserve his forgiveness, but in his Grace he forgave me, came into my heart giving a new life. this a physical thing that i did i opened my mouth ask out loud saying Oh Father forgive me of my sins. spiritually the Holy Spirit was awaken within me my new birth. need a new start ?? why not make 2021 a special new year.. leave a note in the comment if you ask God to come into your life

in a day or two it will be the day we celebrate the giving and the receiving of gifts. for me it seems, it gets harder and harder to find the right gift for that very special family member or friend. Isn't God great, since He is the creator and i am the created being, God knows the right and perfect gift for me. Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Just in case you didn’t know, your gift is there waiting on you to receive it. i am what i think, a more positive person, being a Christian has guided me in that thought. one scripture that has help me is Philippians 4:13 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. that does not mean i can leap a tall building in a single bound. it does mean in my life's journey that God will see me through every trial and tribulation, by trusting in my Lord, not in my own ability .. going to church is one way i trust in the Lord, staying home is avoiding God's way ... see you in church

i got to tell you this past two weeks have been a great blessing to me and our church.. let me tell you about it, a young lady came to me and ask about getting saved, i must say there was a rush of excitement in my spirit. God was moving, he was about to snatch someone out of the grip of the devil, praise God. that morning this young lady ask God to forgive her of her sin and come into her life. How great is our God. Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: -- oh, by the way i baptised that young lady sunday morning..
