To be honest, I continue to share this photo and comments that go with it, because once, with all due respect, I made a comment on a "Friday" on my post and was... told to stay "In My Own Lane". To be honest, it was an uncalled for comment on something that I posted, and obviously I responded. But, since then, it has been my "Mantra". See, we as Blacks, especially Black Men, are like "Crabs" in a Barrel. We will talk brotherly love, but if the love ain't toward the other brother you stopping their shine. Brother please, the sun shine on everyone equal, unless you stay in the house. So again, when I realized that some brothers are insecure from the "Effects of Slavery" I decided to 'Stay In My Own Lane". Let me say this, in keeping it real. I was raised in the streets, but I have an education which makes me not be a dumb "Black Man". Because of my criminal backg...round I learned how to write and file legal documents "Pro Se" which is important for a black man. Now, in 2001, I became the owner of a commercial property, at 1108 North Union, a restaurant that my brother owned when he became The 15 most wanted for the FBI. While the FBI was looking for him, I got caught up, and ended up getting a 9 months sentence in the Federal Prison. Prior to me getting caught up, I made my niece co-owner with me on the restaurant. Once I got caught up and before my "Voluntary Surrender, I transferred my half of the ownership to my mother, until I was released 9 months later. But, during the first 3 months of my incarceration a cousin went to my mother and convinced her to sign the business over to her so she could operate the business and apply for a loan to hire "Scott Rosenbloom" to represent my brother. Bottom line, that was bullshit! She had garnishments against her from other issues and her credit was shot. Fast Forward, in an attempt for them to sell the property to a third party I intervened and filed motions against them. During this process my cousin and her husband go to the judge where I filed my motions and he goes into the system and talks to them about my motion which is called "Ex Parte" communications. Which means having communications with some of the parties without all the parties being present, Which is a violation of the law and is "Judicial Misconduct". When I found out, I filled a complaint with the Commission on the retirement of judges and was denied relief. That Judge George Draper, Now Chief Justice of The Missouri Supreme Court. The bottom line is The Courts denied me relief which I was entitled to and I went to trial, and even in my Appeal, the court reporter denied me transcripts that I paid for to present in my Appeal. This Happened around 10 years ago and I waited for the proper time to Appeal to the Court of Public Opinion. So if anyone is a lawyer and have time on your hands then Google these cause numbers and read how corrupt the Judicial system is. I Challenge Anyone to read this

First I want to thank The Nicks Family. Mrs. Nicks bought me a birthday drink, and Jay E. Nicks and John Nicks allowed us to stay until 12:30 am, after we started late around 9:30. Toomuchsauce St. Louis and Cher, thank you so much, for Catering our food and making sure that I didn't over order food. It was delicious. Also, my sister Kim Mosby Summers aka Treatin You Sweey, at the last minute took an order from me for cupcakes. 60 of them, 30 vanilla and 30 chocolate, each with the opposite color icing and with Yin Yang Symbol and she "Aced It, and Iced It" Thank you again for that. If you don't know, I'm going to tell you. My shit didn't stank last night. I was late as fuck getting to Legacy to set up, but, my lady and her friend Pam, held it down and had the tables covered before I got there. Valerie Young, my co-host was on my head, having me run around like a rooster with my head cut off trying to make sure those raffle tickets were sold. Lol Now, all of my features showed up and out. Calvin Rogers aka Truth, Boroppe Rashad, Rundell Poet Irvin aka 16 BARS, Frank Lyles aka Frank Lyles Comedy. And Frank Capped on my lady and her "Wig". Lol. Our Open Mic was like that with Cassius Cass Mo McPherson, Divalious, I can't think of her Government name, Debra FoFeet Warren, Tonya Hall aka Soul Eyes, Dacia Polk aka InnerGy came to give me a shoutout, and a few others was on our list, like this brother who came from Chicago to share. Now, FoFeet asked me to do a freestyle. My thought was I ain't Louis Conphliction, but I'll try. So she the audience for 5 words which was "these sweaty nuts are delicious" you had to be there to here how we spinned that. Lol Also, there's this brother who I can't remember his name, but he has showed up through the years to support me even before I had my own Open Mic and especially on my birthdays because his mother's birthday is the same day as mine. Man, I got alot to share and I may miss saying some shit because of that but I promise you it will be said. My girl Yvonne M Ming is always on time with everything and I truly appreciate that. Christopher Kaiser, man, thank you much for showing up with your camera and for your support. My sister Dorothy Petty and my brother Jackson Leonard, thank you for showing your love for our many years of friendship. My main brother Robert Green aka Rudo aka The Abstracted Man, and His cousin Jimmy, I love you too brothers and it was special for me to see you too. There is "No One" in the Open Mic Community that can bring people out of retirement or the woodworks like me because I'm The Realist Poet Around who support everyone regardless, because I'm cut from real Kinte Cloth, not the bullshit "fake shit" from China or Taiwan. We bring different shit with our Open Mic and we compete with Noone. We have no "Ego" big or small on our set, and we give more than we receive. I'm not bragging nor is arrogant but to make last night happen I personally spent almost $2,000 on everything and I'm still not broke. You know people always talk about who didn't show up. FUCK THAT. One of the reason most relationships fail is because, after going through a bad relationship, we assume that we need to hurry and meet someone new to forget abo...ut the other person.
