2021 is 1 day away and I'm still seeing a lot of people talking about how "horrible" the year has been. We've all had our fair share of difficulties this year. Yet so many people have STILL come out on top.... Why? Because they... - Chose pain daily, DESPITE how they felt. - Woke up and did the required work. - Owned their shit. - Tracked EVERYTHING. - Recognized that details MATTER. - Made a daily choice to focus on the things they CAN control in a world of chaos. And.... Made a conscious effort to ignore the excuses that wanted to creep in every day. Remember as you go into the new year that progress STOPS when excuses START.

The fastest way to get the highest quality person to come work for you is to post on Facebook that you have a job opening and are looking for the best person to fill it. Just kidding.... Please don't do that.....

Before 2021 is here, take an inventory on 2020. What worked and what didn't in business AND life. Ask yourself some questions...... How often did you practice gratitude? How often did you read? How often did you meditate? How often did you exercise? How often did you date your partner? How often did you date your kids? If ANY of your answers were average AT BEST, figure out how you can change NOW so your answers are different 1 year from now. When you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Let's kick 2021's ass TOGETHER!!!!!

Shortcuts don't exist when it comes to success. You become successful when you are excellent in EVERYTHING you do.

Until you fall IN LOVE with the work that is required and fall IN LOVE with the work itself, you simply will NOT achieve the result you tell yourself you desire. Too many people fall in love with the idea of the result but loathe the work it takes to get there. That's why they NEVER get there.... It's not the result or the idea of the result we should place the emphasis on. It's the WORK. And, how do I spot those who have fallen in love with the work and those who I know are going to win??? They smile the entire time they are doing it, even though we all know it hurts like hell.
