GrubHub Drivers Postmates First of all I am terribly sorry to anyone who has ordered but we are not signed up to/with grubhub or postmastes! The drivers literally come in and pay for the food. The menus are old and the reason we are not involved in this is because we have to control this in house. This is a constant issue and I just want to apologize to anyone who has ordered through these sites, and also I feel so bad for the drivers. It's not fair. Postmates / Grubhub you ...are NOT doing us a favour, you are putting your drivers out and my restaurants reputation is being negatively impacted by your business ethics. I have folks here who are waiting for their rack of ribs, burnts ends, mac and cheese etc...and that's simply not how we treat our customers. We have reached out to both companies but keeps on happening. Again, I'm so sorry we have had 5 grubhub drivers and 2 postmates drivers today alone!! Ally

Great to have you back at the duck Pierce!! Pierce played every Tuesday for years but moved up to Chicago few months back. We will be getting some dates set up as I know we all miss that sound. To the Saint Louis community, all my incredible guests and friends, It is with heavy hearts that as of Monday, March 16th we are temporarily closing our restaurants, The Shaved Duck and The Scottish Arms, in order to help slow the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. Based on the evidence currently available, this is the only socially responsible decision to ensure the physical health of our staff and our community. With that in mind, I will be working diligently over the next... few days to figure out how best to serve our community going forward, particularly those at most risk. We are developing plans with the city for safe curb-side pick up and home delivery and I will continue to update our website and social media platforms with our progress. It is my hope that we can continue to serve our amazing guests and friends in a safe, and socially responsible, way throughout the crisis. But we need to work together. This is a heartbreaking time for all restaurants, not just us. And as much as we may seem like competition, we care deeply for one another too. I am confident that as a group we will support each other, help each other and make sure the Saint Louis culinary scene comes through this stronger than ever. While this is a hard reality to face, we know this is merely a temporary storm we must weather together.
