Another semester of Missouri Wildcrafting class comes to a close. This time it was a mother and son family unit. We finalized the course be creating a fire cider. The mostly wild harvested plants will extract for 4 weeks to create an immune boosting oxymel for winter. Here is a photo of the teas, tinctures, and oxymels for their home apothecary created with plants harvested from their yard and garden and the meadow and woods surrounding their home. Well done!!

Debbie Hazel will be here at Therapeuo Wellness Tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday mornings, as well as Saturday for the HOMETOWN CHRISTMAS making Christmas bows for your holiday decorating. She has a selection of ribbons or you can bring your own. These bows are beautiful and full and well under the cost of buying them at those Hobby Stores. They start at $5 but might be slightly upcharged for larger or specialty ribbons, but you will still save a ton of money, as well as spend a few minutes chatting with Deb. You will walk away with a bow in hand and joy in your heart! It's worth stopping by even if you AREN'T in the market for a bow. Debbie is simply delightful!

Wild Crafting Weekend Tip #1: If you are going to take advantage of this last nice fall day to harvest leaves for your winter teas, the last of the fruits such as paw-paw, or passionfruit, or wild grapes, or ground cherry tomatoes, or any of the fall mushrooms, ... FOR THE LOVE! Be 110% sure of your identification. 99.9% sure isn’t good enough. That being said... go enjoy the bounty of nature provided to us by the Good Lord.

I love Friday Mornings! Why? It feeds my soul. I get to be out in nature. I get to interact with botanicals. And best of all, I get to teach six-year-olds how to do the same thing!

I would love to share something wonderful that happened. It may sound like I’m bragging, but I’m not. I’m just so gratified. A friend stopped by the shop the other day. She was having a ‘moment’. We were able to discuss aromatherapy and how it really CAN help to release emotional patterns. She left with a blend we custom made for her and renewed hope. Now THIS is why I’m doing what I’m doing down here at Therapeuo Wellness.

But only a few posted the photos, and we didn't have everyone's name to put in the drawing! In honor of October trick or treat, we want to see you in your MASK! It can be your Halloween costume, your PPE mask, or a mask you create with your phone's app. Come by and look in our windows! Snap a selfie! Post it on FB!... The shop doesn't have to be open for you to take a photo!
