The Country Corral

We want to thank all of our friends for coming out to the Country Corral. But as a lot of you already know, we are going through some medical issues that will last for quite some time. Bunnie and I have been talking about what to do for a while now, and have decided to CLOSE the Country Corral permanently for country dances on Saturday nights. The name is also changing to just "The Corral". We are going to try other types of music to bring in more of a crowd. The country... dances just weren't growing and in order to keep The Corral open, we have to make changes. Some of these changes people will like and some they won't. Keep in mind that myself and Bunnie have tried for many years now to get a crowd without success. We can't continue to take money out of our own pockets to keep The Corral open. We are very sorry to have to do this, but we really have no choice in the matter. We will only be closed to the strictly country music venue, but will remain in business by going to a mixed type (country, rock, southern rock, blues, etc) of music on Friday nights. At least we are going to try it out and see how it works. We don't make these changes lightly but have put a lot of thought into how to make the transition. We will miss our friends coming out to the Country Corral, but we be able to stay in contact by using the new "The Corral" page that I will be setting up. We will still have special events from time to time and the hall is still available to be rented out for special occasions. Again, please watch this page for now. I will be updating the information as it is happening. I will continue to use this page temporarily until I have the page setup completely and then I will put that link here. Again, we want to thank all of our friends for supporting us at the Country Corral, but it's time to move into the next phase of "The Corral". By the way, we are going to be setting up karaoke. Just don't know when it will be yet. We are working hard on getting all of the details down so that we will not be close for too long. Thank you all See more

We are going to be closed this Saturday due to bad weather coming in that night. We want everyone to be safe and sound. We will be open next weekend 3/9/19. Looking forward to seeing everyone then.
