Client requirements: The Peace Pantry can do walk-ins for a one-time, once a year emergency help only. To receive help weekly, (food given out Wed evenings or Thursday morning) clients need to come into office and apply.... Clients generally need to live in our service area of Cedar Hill, Dittmer, Robertsville, Morse Mill, Richwoods... basically the highway 30 corridor between hwy W and the Franklin County line. During covid, we are taking clients who might not live in our area, but do not have a pantry in their area. It would be best to call the Pantry at 636-285-0934 before arriving to the Pantry to be sure an intake agent is available. Other option would be to come Wed. evening at 5:30 pm, take a number and advise desk that applicant is new and needs to sign up. Needed at time of application: ID and proof of address for all members of household, may be picture ID, social security card or birth certificate. Proof of Public Assistance, example: food stamps award letter Proof of income for all members of household, including employment, unemployment, disability, child support, social security..will accept a current bank statement for direct deposit income. Proof of expenses or other extenuating circumstances if applicant does not qualify based on public assistance. Expenses may include rent, house payment, utility bills, car payment/insurance, real estate tax, medical bills. Hope this information is helpful and that the Peace Pantry can help your family.

A Peace Pantry customer made this from items she purchased at the thrift store. The red headed angel is her. When she was a very small child in school her sister was picked for the Christmas play. She sat in the audience. Her sister got stage fright couldn't remember her lines. Just then she stood up as the angel on high and said her sisters lines from the audience. Happy birthday Jesus and Merry Christmas to all of our clients, customers, volunteers, donors and our entire community. May God bless you throughout the coming year!
Thank you Jim Neumeier and Sieveking for your generous food donation! We can make a difference together
