Sorry to disappear as I did! I know many of my clients were calling hospitals and trying to find me and check on my condition. I love my tribe for this! After going to the ER I was immediately admitted due to testing positive for Covid-19. The next day I was intubated and in ICU. My experience was a nightmare on several levels. I pulled out my tube on the second night, so they had to sedate me even more to get it back in. 30 days later I woke up in ICU-off the ventilator with... only a heart monitor. I had severe muscle atrophy and couldn’t even write my name. My life has irrevocably changed, and in that time so did the world. I’m now home. I had this insidious virus for 6-7 weeks before I had two negative tests. I did everything right, masking, gloving, spraying every surface down with Lysol. I carried it in my purse. It still was not enough. Having this fund created for me was an act of love I can’t believe. The road to recovery is still long way, and I don’t want to relapse. I’m looking at being back in the NKC office in August. I’m still available for video sessions. I am so grateful to everyone for supporting me during this illness. Please, please mask up! See more

My tribe is taking care of me! I am back with limited hours for existing clients. My tribe set up this fund so I can focus on self-care and not have to worry so much about when to pay what and getting new clients. I am so blessed in so many ways.

Thank you Mandy Goering for this love and generosity! As much as I would love to stand and cook, I can’t really stand without a walker and the smallest chore takes three times as long. I have the time and I’m going to persevere.
