The 2016 Louisville Haunt presents: Fright Top Scary Circus

We just wanted to remind everyone that the haunt will not be open on louisville ct. anymore, we have moved, and this year we have to remain closed as we are in a temporary spot. Where we are now, we cannot do the presentation you deserve. But next spring, we will be searching for property to start the dream of owning a real haunt. Thank you to everyone who supported us in our first few years, you were vital to us growing then, and we will need you in the future as well. Hello all!! This is normally the time of year when I start asking opinions on final ideas and themes for the next haunt. That is why this post stings a little to type out... WE WILL NOT BE CONTINUING THE LOUISVILLE HAUNTED WALK NEXT YEAR. Its an unfortunate situation with moving and life. These things do happen with home haunts, they move, they improve, they do a lot of things... but they never quit, and that isnt happening. Its just taking a year to re-locate and get lif...e handled to the point where we can safely dedicate the time we normally would into our haunts. After three glorious years on Louisville Court in Columbia MO, and after raising over 450 lbs of food for the Central MO Food Bank in that span.... it is over for this spot and namesake. The Louisville Haunted Walk will be no more... it will, however, be back in the future as another amazing home haunt in a different location! The absolute beauty of this though, is facebook will allow me to change the name of this page and update everyone when that happens, RIGHT HERE. So give the page a like if you haven't already, and enjoy your haunt season this next year safely!!! And again, thank you to all the neighbors and residents of this fine region for making it more of a success each year we did it!!! We loved every second of it. See more

The Fright Top Scary Circus was an absolute success! We have a two year total of 300 pounds of food donated to central missouri families from our event! Here is a quick video recap of our haunt this year, thank you to all who donated, helped, and came out on the big night! MAJOR thank you's to Images Above for helping out and getting some video of this again! And the numerous people who helped work on this for many hours to make it a success, THANK YOU!!!

Well everyone the final weight on donations of food was just under 100 lbs! Which is great! The food bank was extremely grateful, and we are so happy to provide the platform for that. That means in the last two years of doing this charity event, we have raised 300 lbs of food! This also means just two evenings of scares made many different families have food during the holiday season, thank you mid missouri! I will be working on the recap video today and hopefully get that out soon. Thanks again to Images Above for the shoot that evening and help. And thank you to our whole list of sponsors and helpers. It really took a group effort this year. Way ambitious on my part for the planning, but everyone came together and made it happen. Wow. A million thank you's!

Wow! It was an amazing night at the Fright Top Scary Circus! SO MANY people came out. Final ticket count at nights end was 218. We do not have a weight on donations of food yet, because we are still taking donations on the porch until 1pm when the Central Missouri Food Bank shows up to take their bins. I will post that in the comments here later. But the line was almost to our front yard and the street for a couple hours straight last night. The wait was never more than ...30 minutes though, which is actually ok for that size of crowd. Despite being short handed on staff unexpectedly, we really had everyone step up and nail it all quite nicely. I cannot thank my friends and family enough though, it is truly a group effort to pull something like this off, and definitely at this scale. For a backyard haunt, I think the pro's would be impressed. We have some great footage of the event and will have it cut up into a video soon. I am honestly impressed that so many of our family members and friends see the dedication we put towards this, and they match it to help... just whoa! Because our dedication is crazy, and to see others get on that level is unreal. I just watched someone pull up in front and bring a full bag of groceries to the donation bin on the front porch and drop it off, amazing! It is something that we will take with us forever, watching people get so much joy from something we have fun doing. And being a charity event that helps the community, Thank you to all who came, who donated, and who worked, and who built things. It took all of you and was well worth it! Thank you! See more

Starting to look a lot like a food drive around here!!!

Last night we took some friends through the circus. Their reaction lets us know that you guys are in for a good time. Still work to go.. but we will be up and running around dark Monday night. I suggest coming a little bit later to miss the lines. But we got the donation bin started off right this year...starting with a 20 lb headstart should help this year! See you all tomorrow night!

Less than a week away!!!! We are hard at work on the circus every night getting details hammered down. It should be a longer tour this year, and flow scene to scene quite nicely.

Updated flyers and handbills for this year. 3rd year, but still learning. VERY excited for the season. Big top walls are up, and now to the roof.

Just a friendly disclaimer..... the clowns that haunt the fright top scary circus, STAY in the fright top scary circus. Our clowns will NOT be any of the ones doing weird things in ANY town, because our clowns do not like being shot. Our clowns are scary but safe. (I know them personally) I think its silly I have to mention this publicly though. I do hope everyone is ready for this year though, because its going to be amazing. The circus is coming together quite nicely! Pictures of builds coming soon.

LOTS of cool things are happening right now behind the scenes of the Louisville Haunt. The Fright Top Scary Circus is definitely taking shape. We have a new route which will utilize our massive backyard as well as the trail from previous years. It is looking like a five minute tour! Our haunt has returning sponsors from last year Holmes Hobbies, Images Above, and Facebooth Photo Booths. I would like to extend a personal thank you to those companies for their time, effort, a...nd contributions to this wonderful cause here in our community.
