We need November's cover photo! To go along with everyone's being thankful theme for the month, let's see everyone's biggest oops moment on the trails. The ones you are THANKFUL you walked away from! Please post photo in comments and include a short explanation, or not, of what happened to get you into that predicament (bad spotter). The pic with the most likes by Sunday night at midnight will be the cover for November. If there is a tie, I get to pick from the winners.

Things were really hopping at The Jeep Cave last night. Shakedowns for maintenance, u joints, frame work, E locker and a funeral for an unfortunate ring and pinion. With fall upon us, message us to get your rig scheduled for its summer recovery or winter project!

Since technically, the cover photo contest was for people who have had work done by The Jeep Cave , but Chris Jeffers got so excited and WISHED his Jeep work was done at our shop and he does have an awesome Jeep, he can be the cover for this month . We will be rotating the photos more often now so get out there and take some fantastic fall pictures of your rigs. The next photo contest will be open to all off-road rigs.

The cover pics getting old. I would like all customers new and old to post up pics of your jeeps. Share what work you had done here what you did or did not like about my service. The post with the most likes becomes the cover for Oct. Results calculated Oct 1st am.... I will probably be using some pics to replace outdated posters at the shop.

Here at the"Cave", we do a little more than install pretty stuff.... although we do that too.

Let's talk PM. This is a '97 street jeep. Zero indication of having ever been off road. All of us encounter water and mud occasionally. It's a very good idea to flush the frame rails after these encounters. The other demon is the salt in the winter. It must be dealt with quickly and efficiently as well. If you spend five or even ten washing the body to remove the mud and debris, that's ten or twenty on the undercarriage. We've got an ever increasing investment in our rigs, this will help to ensure they stay in top notch condition.

I've described gear install as surgery... I take it very seriously and put everything into it. A couple sheets of paper worth of adjustment will make the difference of driving home or needing a tow truck!!
