The Gardens At Barry Road’s management team has selected Maria Lembke for this month’s Employee Spotlight!... Maria works as a Medication Aid on our evening shift in Assisted Living, and her energetic and bright personality lights up both residents and staff. It’s clear she finds joy in her work because she is always smiling and eager to help. We all know when Maria arrives for her shift when her distinct, contagious laughter can be heard throughout the halls. New employees find a fast friend in Maria through her kindness and humor. Her proudest accomplishment at work is knowing the residents trust her, but the management team also trusts and relies on her. Gerry, our Health Services Director and Maria’s supervisor, says, I trust Maria and know that if she is here, the residents are being well cared for.

The residents were able to see some of the kids who dropped by to Trick or Treat! It was a lot of fun!,,

The staff Costume Contest was a lot of fun!

Miss Elsie’s great granddaughter, Lucy, won our Halloween Gift Basket! Her brother, Billy, also submitted a coloring, so he got a goodie bag. Thanks to everyone who submitted an entry through colorings or referrals! We enjoyed having our windows decorated by our kiddos for the month of October. Have a Happy Halloween!

The RedHat Luncheon was a smash! The ladies enjoyed the meal, the entertainment, and the get to know you game afterwards! It was a great time! A big thanks to our own Jon Tucker for singing for us!
