We ran 90 feet of railing today. Next we will run the stainless steel cable.

Working on this deck transformation. We took out the old railing and installed picture frame decking around the perimeter. We will follow it up with a deluxe cable railing.

Despite the rain and muddy mess, we were able to push through and finish up another Deck for Bussell Homes in Eagle Ridge.

In 2011, I was recovering from the crash of 07-08. I was working a second job since the crash to keep The Deck Company alive. SBJ asked me to do a segment about my company. Looking back at this, our revenue totaled around $500,000 with 6 employees that year. Now going into 2021, we have several employees in 6 locations. Spfld Mo, Northwest Arkansas, Joplin Mo, Fort Smith Arkansas, St. Louis Mo, and Kansas City Mo. NOT only do we build decks, but we have expanded to fence, con...crete, landscaping, and we are purchasing several retail buildings through the Midwest. At The Deck Company, all of us have become family. All of us together have transformed this business into something amazing . I’m very thankful for everyone that has made this business what it is today. I’m not sure what our revenue totals are now, but we can afford to keep the lights on. See more
