The Boehmer Team Real Estate is in the business of spreading holiday cheer this winter. Typically, this mother/daughter real estate team hosts a large holiday party, but had to cancel this year's celebration due to Covid-19. Instead, they decided to donate the money they would normally use for their holiday event to local nonprofit organizations. They generously donated $2,000 to The Center for Autism Education! What an amazing gesture during a year where so many individuals and organizations are struggling to make ends meet. Thank you for your thoughtful gift!

Thank you to the St. Charles Ancient Order of Hibernians for generously donating $500 to CAE! We are so appreciative when local organizations give back to the community.

Our virtual art show has been postponed! Thank you to everyone who donated supplies and/or money to purchase supplies! Our students are still hard at work, we're just moving this event to the spring.

This #GivingTuesday we are flipping the script and giving our thanks to YOU! We are humbled by the generosity of The Greater St. Louis Philanthropic Community. Thanks to support from corporations, foundations, and individuals, we were able to complete our agency's largest capital campaign ahead of schedule, during a global pandemic. So thanks to YOU for supporting us which in turn allows us to support the consumers we hold so dear to our hearts. *If you would like to participate in #GivingTuesday2020, Facebook will match 10% of eligible donations today only.

We are feeling especially thankful this holiday season because we have some exciting news: We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully completed our Play and Learn Campaign When we started this campaign in April of 2019, we knew we had our work cut out for us, but there's no way we could have prepared for the impact of Covid-19. With grants being frozen or rerouted to covid relief, events being cancelled, and personal donations on the decline, we grew concerned a...bout the outlook of this project. Thankfully, the Developmental Disabilities Resource Board recognized that this was no ordinary playground. This state-of-the-art sensory and recreational center is designed to meet the unique sensory and physical needs of each one of our students. This playground is a tool for our certified teachers, therapists, and behavior analysts to teach social skills, leisure activities, motor skills and physical fitness. It is a safe space to explore and make new friends. Most importantly, it is a magnificent place to PLAY! That is why DDRB awarded us the $75,000 we needed to complete the Play and Learn Campaign! During a year that has been so stressful and scary, we are ecstatic to start building our students the recreational space they deserve. Thank you to DDRB, Midland States Bank, Dana Brown Charitable Trust, Scotsman Coin and Jewelry, our partner at Play4All, and every single person who contributed along the way. We are humbled by the incredible generosity of the Greater St. Louis Philanthropic Community. We'd like to wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
