Did you know that sports can be a life line for underserved at-risk youth by redirecting them, teaching them about team work, building self esteem, giving them hope, learning healthy habits, motivating them to succeed in academics? ... The Buddy Fund established in 1962 by Buddy Blattner a former St. Louis Cardinals, St Louis Hawks player and Sportscaster with a sole purpose to provide new sporting equipment and supplies to underserved at-risk youth. Each year we donate new sports equipment to 73+ Youth organizations, Group, Foster Homes, Youth Centers, Schools and after school programs. YMCA’s, Police Athletic league, Life For Life Gym & Academy, St. Celica's School, Our Lady's Inn, Boys Hope Girls Hope, Isaac Bruce Foundation, Jackie Joyner Kersee Center, Special Olympics and many more!
