Dennis and Zeb are back in the shop today. Appointments required, no walk-ins please. Masks are also required, if you don't have one, we have some for a buck. They are pretty booked this week already, but to get an appointment call 417-881-6537.

COVID-19 BARBER SHOP RULES The Barber Shop will re-open Tuesday, May 12th We will work by appointment only and will start taking appointments Tuesday, May 5th. You may call Dennis - 881-6537, Zeb -343-9897.... No more than two clients will be allowed in the shop at a time, so please wait in the car until the time of your appointment. Once everything has been disinfected properly, you alone will be allowed in. Your barber is required to wear a mask and gloves. You are required to wear a mask. You can provide your own mask or we will have masks available for only $1.00. Walk-ins will be given the first possible appt. after all pre-made appts. are taken care of. We've seen this before. Funny, but not funny at the same time. Mom, however, has the right attitude. We all know hair grows back. But it's gonna be a while. LOL

It's voting day! Hope everyone makes it to the poles!

1976, my first job, 22 years old...The Upper Room, Lubbock Texas. Marshal was my mentor and he was so awesome. Taught me to cut hair pieces and sent me to Roffler special classes to learn how to razor cut. Damn, those are good memories.

It's bitter sweet, but tomorrow will be my very last day at The Barber Shop. I'll be there from 10 a.m. to about 1 p.m. and would love to see some of my old peeps before I go. It's time to truly retire. I tried...but my leg just won't allow it. Thanks for everyone's continued loyalty over the last 30 years of me standing behind the chair in Springfield. I've been so blessed. I love so many of you and most of you have been, not only customers, but you're friends and will be f...orever in my heart. Here's a chapter of my life closing after 42 years of being a barber. Sharon.
