After much thought and prayer, The Country Corner Florist and Gifts will close our showroom temporarily to protect our customers, staff and our family. We want to do what is best for the people in our community. We will continue to take phone orders or orders from our Website for funerals only. Our phone number is 573-438-7777. We are able to deliver to designated areas of the funeral homes without close contact with people, allowing everyone to be safe. We have let both M...oore Funeral Home and DeClue Funeral Home in Potosi know that we will be available for funeral orders and family needs. Most everyone locally knows that Billy Joe is currently taking chemo for lukemia. Our family's activities and schedules have changed a lot over the last several months due to that. We are sometimes at a hospital up to five days weekly for blood work, chemo, etc. We have been taking extra precautions to stay healthy and avoid exposing Billy Joe to anything because of his compromised immune system right now. Given the current circumstances, we feel the move of closing the showroom temporarily and only taking phone orders until Covid-19 is under control will help do our part to protect our community, staff, friends and family. We are praying that things will return to normal or even better for all of us soon. In the meantime, please be kind, love one another, stay safe and pray often.
