God is with us as we grow through trials and tribulations. Growth is uncomfortable and sometimes intimidating, yet it is the very thing that will prepare us to meet God.

Throughout my high school career, I attended three different schools, lived in three different houses and two different states. I grew up in Las Vegas and thought I would always call that city home, but two months into my sophomore year, my dad received a job offer causing my family to relocate to Arizona. I moved to a small town just outside of Phoenix the summer before my junior year. To say it was hard would be an understatement; I was comfortable with my life and I had a ...lot going for me--friends, a good school, sports teams, internships. But all that came to a crashing halt. I felt very confused and very lonely. It was difficult, but it was during this time that I learned a very valuable lesson: God is my Heavenly Father and His plan for me is better than my own. My life is better now than I ever could have imagined! I’m grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves me and for experiences that help me grow into the person He needs me to be.

Growth is something that takes time and effort but brings satisfaction. We may stumble and fall, but through Christ, we will always prevail. Why is growth important to you?
