Friends, some bad news from TomatoVille: we overestimated the number of lovely greenhouse tomatoes we could get this week. If you ordered the LARGE Produce Box you will get a tomato. If you ordered the SMALL Produce Box you will *likely* get a tomato, but you may not, and instead a few of you will get a pound of parsnips and white carrots, for which we have the perfect recipe (right here: http://bit.ly/YayParsnips ). Have you met our vendor Duchess Rose Royal Treats yet? We *cannot* say enough good things about them, and the items they have for you this week are divine! Vegans, rejoice: This box includes 32 ounces of BBQ jackfruit pulled pork (so good on a Hawaiian roll or with slaw), roasted garlic and sriracha hummus, pretzel bites with a spicy mustard sauce, and a bag of sweet-and-spicy roasted chickpea snack mix!
