FROM THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT Director Damier is asking our community to contact the office or him personally if you see something in the community that needs attention. He has an open-door policy to discuss comments, concerns, or problems. If you see something in our community that is concerning, you are welcome to come in, sit down, and discuss the issue. We do not pay attention to social media so if we don’t know there is a problem, we won’t be able to resolve it. ... His hours are 7-3 Monday -Friday and Debbie is in the office 9-3 part time 3 days a week- usually Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. As the Christmas season is approaching and packages start to show up more frequently in the mail, please keep a lookout of any suspicious activity in the area. Vehicles driving slow, frequenting certain areas or unfamiliar vehicles that you may deem suspicious. Package theft increases roughly 22% in November and December compared to all other months combined and with more people taking advantage of online ordering this Christmas, these numbers will increase.
