Mom Update: Today marks 1 year since her health scare. It was a hard day for her to say the least, but she feels so blessed and lucky to be here. She is doing so amazing! We did have a setback right before Christmas with a torn thigh muscle. But she is doing physical therapy for that at the moment. She is also continuing her occupational therapy for hand movement and some other things. Today I took her on her 3rd driving lesson, and she blows me away with how good she does. ...But yet not feeling completely confident behind the wheel. She is living independently, but does need help with some things still. Im so proud of her, and in awe of her strength and spirit. I have known my entire life I had a strong Mother, but until last year I didn’t realize how strong she really is.
