Tulips were never at the top of our favorite flowers list. That all changed when we started growing the specialty varieties for cut flowers. They’re so special for so many reasons. They come in tons of colors and shapes, have long, strong stems and they continue to grow in the vase. And they’re easy to plant and harvest, which is a bonus when you got lots of them. It wasn’t love at first site with these yellow parrot tulips, but we have a few in the house and the more we loo...k at them the more we love them.
