Apparently husband must have liked the pickled beets I made.... He came home with 10 more pounds!

I really didn't realize how much work I have put in till it's all out like this!

So happy with the bayou burner..

I ended up with 13 pints of pickled beets!!! Used what was left of the juice and boiled eggs... So now have pickled eggs too!

Well ran out of time... I got the beets cooked and skinned. Put them in the fridge and will finish up tomorrow...

Stitches of time ... As I sit here and sew tiny little stitches... I wonder what will happen to this quilt... The hours and hours I have sat sewing. Will it be appreciated once I'm gone? I started hand piecing this quilt in February.. I think I have 6 or so blocks left... Grandma's flower garden. Will my child want it to keep once I'm gone? Will my husband hold it close.. holding onto happy memories or maybe not so happy as he hears me gripe at things going wrong.. :-) lots of hours... lots of poked and sore fingers.. blood drawn... I hope someone keeps it. It would mean a lot to me once it's finished.... Stitches of time...
