This is Jake. He was 13 years old, from Nixa, and he took his own life. I hugged on to Colton really snug after reading about Jake . Let me tell you, this generation of children ...they are not experiencing the same world we had grown up with. No, they are not. What they are experiencing is a world much worse....a world full of darkness. Friends we have to talk to our babies constantly, look out for each other as well. Even if you’re terrible , as I am, at coming up with the right things to say ....we just have to talk to them. Let them know .....show them.... they are loved, and they are cared for. My heart hurts. Pray please for this family. Even if your not a believer , send a whisper of comfort for this family.

I feel compelled to share this image in light of the current cover up inquiries I have recently recieved (24 in just 5 days). I have shared this photo , what seems to be every year over the last 5 / 6 years . I share this in hopes that it helps individuals make a more educated decision on choosing where to get work done. Not just in Missouri, but in all states not requiring licensing . Certificates are not the same as a state board tattoo license. Now I personally have seen... some amazing artists that are just naturally talented , but they are not licensed by the state/ properly trained in the specifics of tattooing. This can be dangerous. If the artist does not have proper training/ knowledge of -proper after care -medically ineligible individuals -different skin type understanding for pigment color/healing results -different needle usage -infection control procedures/ precautions -Bloodborne pathogens training -CPR/First Aid training -proper needle disposal -appropriate needle depth in the skin ....amongst much more information needed to deliver sound results.... many MANY negative outcomes can be the end tattoo result . A tattoo performed to deep can not be removed, has ability to cause scarring, can spread under the skin and cause infection/disease. Effective 2021- S/W will no longer be providing cover up work / touch ups from other technicians
