In this Friday Feature, Heather Lytle from F.A.C.T. shows how they used the Charting the Lifecourse domains in order to create a survey that would be completed every three months for three years. The survey would collect data that would indicate a family’s progression. The goal for all families is to be empowered to handle the challenges that come with having a child with a disability. This study supports having a Family Support Partner significantly increases a parents’ ability to overcome barriers, learn about resources and advocacy.
