One of the most important functions of your foot is your toes being able to grip the ground. Because we wear modern footwear where the toe boxes compress our toes together, it is necessary to stretch our toes which allows them to spread out and grab the ground better. If you notice your toes don’t spread out well, use this stretch and it will help a lot. This stretch is usually pretty uncomfortable but it really helps with plantar fasciitis, neuromas and other foot injuries.
