Good afternoon brides, grooms, and all followers! We at Sunset Bluffs would like to say how grateful we are to work with some of the most amazing clients. It really means the world to me, Fredrick, to make such an impact on many brides and grooms. Many of you have become friends and have invited me to thanksgivings, dinners, changed out your toilets (seriously no joke lol) helped with a bathroom and excavating at your homes, had me over for friends' parties, July 4th events,... and more. I’ve had brides and grooms even come and work at the venue helping tear down old sheds, doing a lot of concrete together, drywall, and many other little projects. Going into this business I’ll be honest I had no idea what to expect, and now 198 weddings later it has me looking back, and I can say that I made the greatest decision of my life and have met some of the greatest people! Most of you that know me know we do everything possible to keep the facility looking good and try to part the clouds the best I can with my phone app haha. (I know a few of you have heard that joke from me lol) Back in 2012 I built and designed the property for multiple reasons but none of them were for a wedding venue at that time. I didn't have the slightest clue that I would take this direction, but I took on such a large project of buying a Foreclosed rock quarry that was vacant for 6 years and went to work because I love working with my hands and bringing a vision to life and wanted to be closer to family. As things changed in my life I realized I wanted more people to enjoy the true beauty of it and have the opportunity to mingle with more people and make their big day come to life! During that time I stayed reinvesting into the property day in and day out, and always listening to brides on how I could make the venue better and better. As we are on off season we are doing even more projects inside the venue, finishing the guest house, and building a permanent arbor. I am also thankful to the brides and grooms of 2020 that we stayed working together through the craziness and the uncertainty of the whole year. Last wedding of the year went out with a bang! Huge congrats to Caity and John After changing their beach wedding from Mexico to Missouri, these two deserved something a bit extra special.
