Today our dear friend John Bird went home to be with the Lord. We continue to pray for his family. We will greatly miss this hot sauce guy.

Why is Summit Point Church Felon Friendly? One word, Grace! Christ died for all as Paul reminds us in Romans. For one will scarcely die for a righteous personthough perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. Romans 5:1-9 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1 As Jesus once said, you without sin cast the first stone!!!!

Brother Ronald Robinson went home to be with the Lord on Oct 5th. His family held his funeral service today in St. Louis. Ronald was a gentle spirit who loved the Lord. He will be greatly missed.

Because there were some ill people we canceled church last Sunday (9.20) as a precaution. We now have had a few people test positive, as a continued precaution, we will be online only this Sunday. FB live. . . Tune in.

Praying for your week. Remember, God has this!

This is an update, as of Monday we have a few people who tested positive who were at church a week ago. Everyone has been contacted. The protocols helped keep this isolated to just a few individuals. We continue to disinfect, provide hand sanitizer, and encourage people to wear a mask.
