Last week, our project team in St. Louis broke ground on the nearly 1 million-sf Forsyth Pointe mixed-use development! On Friday, the team conducted a large co...ncrete pour at the downtown Clayton site. Designed by Christner Inc. and Cedergreen LLC, Forsyth Pointe is a true local endeavor, with the development, design and construction teams all based in St. Louis. We are excited for this project to become a premier office space for the area. #BuildStLouis #Groundbreaking

We figured we need to get back to posting on our FB page, so what better way than to post pics of a micropile foundation system that we designed and are installing in the St. Louis Art Museum. You don't see this everyday.

We have some great pics from our aggregate pier/stone column job in Central Illinois. We've completed the ground improvement design and construction for several grain bins at this location, and we're at it again today!

We like to post pics of drill rigs, but we have a lot people making things happen for us in the field and office. Here are some of those people having some fun throwing axes tonight.

Staying busy! Subsurface Constructors is currently installing drilled shafts in a tight access area for the new Founder's Hall addition at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.

Subsurface recently recognized the career of John Wolfe, who retired after 24 years of working for us as an operator and for the last several years as our riding boss. John will be missed at Subsurface! Enjoy retirement, John!

We are happy to have to two interns this summer who are learning about geotechnical construction. Alexandra is a geological engineering student at MS&T and Joe ...recently graduated from the same department at MS&T and is headed to grad school after the summer. Say hi to them if you see them in the field, where they will probably be more often than where they are in this pic. See more
