New warming center! We are very excited to be a part of this. We are open as a warming center 9a-6p each day the average temperature falls below 37 degrees. Our capacity is 37 folks. Coffee, TV, clothing, medical and case management available most everyday! Thanks to the new warming center, up to 100 new beds are now available for our clients. UPDATE!! The City of Kansas City Missouri has agreed to keep the center open all day today due to the Severe Weather!

Big THANKS to the folks at Johns Big Deck! We just picked up our first trip of donations from the drive. The donation box with be there through Valentine’s Day!Be sure to check out their new roof top too!

Thank you John Kraus at Morning Glory Ministries - Kansas City for being one of our core community partners. We will be ready for the cold front coming later this week. We now have a refrigerator, freezer and a piano in our center/clinic!

Great day today, Our clinic served 45 patients/clients. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and received a friendly visit from Team Jesus "Rebuilding The Broken" John 3:16. They’re doing great outreach, always good to see them!

We have been open everyday of the week now for a for about ten days and will continue as long as we have temperatures below 37 degrees at night. It’s a pleasant surprise to have a priest from Wyandotte make his way to us to see first hand what is being down here. Our showers will be back open on Monday! A big shout out to Carol at Save Inc and Chance at ReStart for working with us to solve some of the heavier cases in our community.... Thank you Dr Scholes and one of our 5th year UMKC medical students on the prescriptions and triage today. We were lucky enough to transport a patient to the ED today saving time and resources to the health care system. Thank you Downtown KC Council and Sean O for your continuous support!

A great day of service! Team Jesus, our medical teams and great volunteers served dozens of patients, clients and just folks that needed something.

Another great day of services from our fabulous team! We provided 14 medical appointments, 5 showers, 2 prescriptions, 35 pieces of clothing, 6 medications and 6 housing applications.

Join this weekend and every weekend for assistance. We are now open on Monday and Tuesday from 10am-3pm (Wednesday by appointment only.). Coming November 10th will be adding medical services on Tuesdays from 530pm-8pm.

Our 5th year UMKC medical student want to give her first shot ever to our Executive Director. Brandi is a true leader to our first and second year students. Thanks again the the Kansas City, Missouri Health Department for providing the shots! Looking forward to having this every week for our patients and clients!

Love my team! We did 15 flu shots, 22 medical visits, 5 prescriptions filled, 6 showers, 40 pieces of clothing, 2 sleeping bags, 8 blankets, 14 intakes for services, visited two encampments and provide snacks and compassion. Join us next Saturday as we dress up for Halloween and BBQ!

We wanted to let you know that we have opened a new type of community center that offers direct medical, mental and social health care to the must vulnerable population in our community. Our Executive Director is spearheading several organizations, universities, and healthcare systems to work in unison to better tackle our clients and patients coming to our new location at 1444 E 8th Street. We do triage, help rebuild connecti...ons to establish longterm care and housing for those coming through our doors. KC Care Clinic, Health Outreach Foundation, UMKC School of Medicine, Jon Bailey Law, Volunteer KC are currently housed on campus. We are excited to be collaborating with the KCMO Health Department to provide vaccinations this winter. Our partnership with Connecting for Good and The City of Kansas City Missouri will allow us to bridge the digital divide for our clients/patients with phones, computer labs and wifi. We are seeking to expand services and need your help. We seek those with exceptional resources in funding and Executive Board members to join our team. We are changing lives in the metro.
