Coach Marriott said Today was an amazing day to be a Bulldog!!!! I am beyond proud of all of my runners!!! We have been talking about racing at Linn for Districts for 5 weeks. Linn’s course is a tough one, it’s hilly, it’s muddy and wet in some spots even when the weather is dry and for some, it was their nemesis. But not any more!!! Most were dreading running at Linn but we had several team talks over the last 5 weeks and decided that we were going to do awesome at Lin...n and I am so proud to say we did!!! These kids layed everything out on the course and ran as hard as they could. The top 15 in each race (girls and boys) and the top two teams qualify for state and I am happy to say we had 3 qualify for state today!!! Congratulations to Kara VanVleck for medaling and taking 7th place with a time of 23:16.9. This is a season PR for Kara. Congratulations to Julia Marriott for medaling and taking 9th place with a time of 23:25.6. This is a season PR for Julia. Congratulations to Blaine Brodersen for medaling and taking 9th place with a time of 18:39.4. Kara, Julia and Blaine will run next Friday in the Class 2 State meet in Columbia, MO. Congratulations to the other boys for an awesome race. Elijah Judd- 19:22.8. This is a season PR for Elijah. Elijah was so close to qualifying coming 17th just 7 seconds behind the 15th place runner. Cody Mosher-20:59.5. This is a season PR for Cody. Kolten Carter- 21:25.0 Ethan Siegel- 21:59.1 Raden Layne- 23:22.1. This is a season PR for Raden.
