Stockton City Hall 1st Quarter 2019 Art Gallery is ready for visitors. On display are quilt designs using digitally printed reproductions of Van Goghs' art found in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, whimsical figures with lots of personality made from "found" objects, photographs inspired by the textures, movement and patterns seen in nature and beautiful Scared Root designed one of a kind jewelry. The gallery features local artists Marsha Cowen, Linda Hall, Sally Robinson a...nd Reed Shaw. It is located in Stockton City Hall's north hallway and conference room. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, but is closed for government holidays. The conference room is occasionally closed for city meetings. To check availability call 276 5210. Stockton City Hall’s art gallery is ready for visitors with new art from nine talented local artists. The gallery features stained glass, beautiful quilts, steel sculpture, pen and ink, oil, acrylic, one of a kind jewelry, recycled junk art a huge Peppermint Candy, wonky barnyard animal portraits and more. Our artists are: Sally Bast, Norma Van Bunnen, Linda Hall, Kristin Huke, Joe Malesky, Susan Neese, Elizabeth O’Connor, Reed Shaw and Kathy Todd. Their artwork involves fr...actal burning of cedar slabs, epoxy and glass creations, collage quilts, a huge Peppermint Candy, wonky barnyard animal portraits, handmade jewelry and more. The gallery is located in Stockton City Hall’s North hallway and Conference Room. The gallery is open M-F 9:00 to 4:00. Closed for government holidays. Stockton City Hall Gallery 2nd Quarter featured artwork from three Stockton R-I school teacher and several of their students, grades K-12. The art teachers whose work - paintings, photographs, pencil and pottery - are Jolene Matson, Courtney Cross and Charlie Carsten. The artwork will remain on display through June.
