Now the piece is assembled, checked over for aesthetics and function. Notice all the grain is aligned? Then repair and reinstall fancy appliques. And then to witness the natural color with the first sealer coat. Made a new top from laminated veneer core, the old stave core was wrong by design for expansion and contraction, plus warped in every direction imaginable.
