Common fillers made from Hyaluronidase acid are Juvederm, Restylane, Versa, and Belotero. Every injector should have a good supply of Hyaluronidase in the clinic at all times. Why? A rare but serious complication of filler injections is vascular occlusion. This is when filler is inadvertently placed in an artery, blocking off blood supply. We take your health and safety as it relates to the current coronavirus pandemic very seriously. Our COVID programs include ongoing temperature screening, medical grade surface sanitation, mandatory face mask usage by all employees and patients, social distancing policies, and routine employee health monitoring. As a part of our routine employee health monitoring, we have identified one nonclinical employee (ie, they do not touch or treat patients) as positive for coronavirus.... Following CDC guidelines, they were isolated at home from the time of suspicion, and will remain quarantined for two weeks. However, out of an abundance of caution we are closing temporarily during which time our facilities will undergo additional cleaning and employees will be screened and/or tested as appropriate. If at any point we identify a clinical employee as coronavirus positive, we will directly inform all patients with whom they had contact. You will receive a phone call or text message if your appointment is affected by our temporary closure. We will post changes and updates on the website and contact patients as appropriate.
