Listening to counsel and accepting instruction (musar, "moral correction and discipline") will make a person wise. In the end could mean the end of one's life but more likely it refers to some time after the instruction us given.

In today's study we will focus on verse 8 of Chapter 18, many people fail to understand this verse yet I hope that it enriches others just as much as it has enriched me. 18:8 Gossip is like choice morsels (lit., "things greedily devoured," a Hebrew word used only here). Hearing gossip is like eating a delicacy (something not everyone else hears). Therefore, like food being digested, gossiped news is assimilated in one's inmost parts (i.e., is retained and remembered). Don't let gossip control you life ask God to help you remove the areas in your life that you lack and allow Him to heal the heart that needs healed.

In today's society many people are battling a demon called depression in today's Chapter 15 verse 13 we focus on just that. A happy heart, a discerning heart, and a cheerful heart. Inner joy shows on a person's face, but inner grief depresses a person's morale (crushes the spirit 15:4). Happiness and depression are issues of the heart. What a person is inwardly has more lasting impact on his emotional state than do his circumstances. Some people hold up under difficult circumstances better than other because of inner strength. We are to encourage the oppressed by helping them not holding them down. Let us left up each other for the Kingdom of God

Bless Friday to our family and friends, may the blessing of the Lord be upon you all. Seeing beauty requires a godly perspective. If I rely on my own understanding, I will never have the proper perspective. But when I trust the One on whom the whole earth rest, "the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:16 - 18). The closer I move toward Him, the accurate my perspective becomes.
