In Light of Remembrance All Saint’s Day Drive-Thru Candle Lighting Event Sunday, November 1st, 5:308:00 p.m. St. James Lutheran Church, 1104 NE Vivion Road... Kansas City, MO Light a Candle to for a Loved One 2020 has been a difficult year. To lose a loved one is always hard, and many more have been lost this year to COVID-19. St. James Lutheran Church invites you to a Drive -Thru time of Remembrance. Come light a candle to add to the gathering of the Saints in Light as we place luminaries on our lawn to Remember and Honor the passage of your loved one. To do this, drive in and share the name of your loved one you wish to honor. We will lift that person up in prayer, light a luminary in their honor and place it where you can see it as you drive by on Vivion Road. You are invited to stay and watch the luminary being placed. This is our gift to you and to the community In Light of Remembrance Christians around the world celebrate All Saints Day on November 1st. It is a time to remember those who have passed away with fondness and love; to grieve with hope, for as a faith community, we rest in the promise of the Resurrection of the Dead and look forward to being reunited with those we love.
