Stitches Fine Fabrics & Notions

Well, the time has come, and I will be opening at my regular hours on Thursday May 7, 2020, 9:30-5:00. It has been a very long year and I am still improving every day. If you have been wanting to get out and about, come browse and add some items to your stash or just look around and find a new project to get you motivated. Thanks to all who have been patiently waiting for me to get back in the shop. Come with or without a mask! Quilty Hugs to all!!

I am still open on Saturday 11:00-3:00 and am getting things put away. Sometimes I run out of steam before I run out of work, but that isn’t unusual after medical issues. I am doing better and working every day to get back on track. Come by and see the notions that have come in and are finding their way up on the wall, along with some new fabrics. I got the, You are my Sunshine fabric, finally, along with a couple of Sunflower related prints. I also got in a pretty cloud print, lovely pastel blue with white fluffy clouds floating on the blue. Hello Everyone! I am in the shop today 7/27/19, till 3:00, trying to get some odds and ends done including pricing some fabric and notions that have come in from previous orders. Lots of notions and fabrics I ordered between hospital visits. I will try to get some pictures and post those for you to see. Well I am in the shop today 11:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. Thought I would post some of the fabric that came in while I have been out of commission. These are some of the Hoffman Dream Big panels, they are 43" wide and make beautiful wall hangings or centers for quilts. Come by and take a look at them, they are digitally printed and really quite striking.

To catch everyone up on my shop news! After my 3rd surgery, I had to start PT over. Now I am looking at the end of July before I can go back to my regular hours, in the interim, I will be open Saturday from 11 a.m - 3 p.m. thru June and July, so I can go to my PT appointments thru the week. If I don’t have a problem being in the shop that long, then I will be there for the four hours. If you need something on another day, call me at (417-858-3635) and I will meet you and get what you are needing. Things did not go according to plan, didn’t count on 3 surgeries in 4 months, was supposed to be only one and getting back on my feet by end of May. But, as you all saw, things did not work out that way. So, I’m working with the hand I was dealt. Hope all of you are healthy and doing well!

By now most of you know I had major back surgery. I am doing well and will be starting PT. As you know the shop will be closed until either the end of May if things go well or the end of July if things do not go as planned. I will post on here when I will re-open. I just got in about 6 of the co-ordinating Fabrics for the Cat-I-tude Fabrics. I should have the 2 backordered bolts in on Monday. I also received the new Eversewn Sewing/embroidery machine, working on setting up to see how it works. You can connect with smart phone or iPad to make it work and download designs to sew out. I have a new neck light for close hand work. A few new wide backs have slipped in. Stop by and check it out!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be closed on Friday Sept. 7th and will open at 1:00 p.m. I have a Dr. appointment and hope all goes well and I will be out quickly. I may be back a bit sooner but will depend on how quickly I get in and out of the Dr office.
