It’s FALL but yet summer is still lingering on, which takes me back to @paige.mcgrady session. These next few years are going to pull on my heartstrings. So many nieces/nephews/close family friends/past girls scouts growing up, graduating and starting the next chapter of their lives. This sweet girl just so happens to be one of them, her brother was my ring bearer, her grandparents share a dock with my husband’ grandparents at the lake of the Ozarks, her mother is ...my husband’s 3rd cousin & we have pretty much spent every summer down on that dock. Her story is remarkable. She’s a fighter no doubt & don’t let her 5ft frame fool you - tiny bit mighty is the best way to describe her spirit. I’m OLD ... we’ll, at least when I look at this image I feel old Christian is one of our original neighborhood kids - I’ve known him since he was like three years old - WHEN DID THESE KIDS GROW UP??? A DREAM - pretty much sums up everything about our Content Carousel & this styling - the girl, the bike, the florals. I am currently sitting on my parents front porch (in Appleton, WI), a soft wind blowing & temps in the 70's - zero humidity. AND I realized it’s been a hot minute since I’ve popped in and said hey - so... Hey for those of you new to my little corner of the IG world, I’m Stephanie (aka - mom, god mom, mommy, momma Lowery). I met this guy, who has to put up with me and THREE other ladies, on a blind date & find it hard to believe that in October it will have been... 20 years since we first met. I LOVE late fall & winter - those are my happy seasons, I despise the heat & summer. I love musicals, coffee, working out, coffee, sweaters, coffee, scarves, coffee - have I mentioned that I LOVE coffee...and we are definitely entering "COFFEE" season Taking care of myself has become my number one priority over the last year and I can't believe just how far I've come...more importantly I LOVE how I feel, which just reminds me even more of WHY working with young adults (aka - high school seniors) is so passionate for me. I want EVERY person (guy & girl) to feel amazing & confident about who they are, and whether that happens to be just for one hour or three hours - at the end of the day when they look at the back of my camera and I hear "Oh my gosh, is that me..." nothing's better than looking right back at them and saying "OH, but it is..." Have a GREAT Labor Day weekend! I know I will - I get to spend the weekend with family and taking my nieces senior portraits. How about you - What are your plans? Best way to spend HALLOWEEN day during a pandemic with unseasonably warm temperatures - working with this sweet girl right here!!!
