St. Charles Crime Stoppers 10.12.2020

A 21 year old man from St. Louis County was shot multiple times on Monday evening at approximately 11:15pm during an altercation in the 300 block of Mokane in S...t. Charles. The victim was in his vehicle during the incident and drove from the scene to the area of S. River Road and Riverine Drive where the victim crashed his vehicle into an oncoming vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle that was struck were not injured. St. Charles Police Officers rendered first aid to the victim upon arrival until EMS arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition. The victim was admitted and is currently listed in stable condition with serious physical injuries. St. Charles Police Officers and Detectives canvassed the area during their investigation and located a 22 year old man from Ferguson believed to be involved in the incident. Detectives interviewed the 22 year old man along with a number of witnesses. A number of firearms have been seized. Detectives remain active in their investigation and are asking anyone who may information to contact the St. Charles Police Department Detective Bureau at 636-949-3320.

St. Charles Crime Stoppers 18.11.2020

St. Charles Police Department arrested 7 people during a protest which began at the Streets of St Charles and ended in front of the St Charles Police Department.... The protest began near the intersection of Lombard and Beale St., located in the Streets of St. Charles Sunday evening at approximately 6:00pm, where they remained in the area for approximately one hour. Traffic in the area was diverted while the protestors blocked the intersection of S Fifth Street and Lombard Street. Following the demonstration at the Streets of St Charles, protestors moved to the intersection in front of the St Charles Police Department on Zumbehl Road. Protestors blocked the roadway and defaced the signage in front of the Police Department. Police Officers gave the protestors several orders to disperse just after 8:00pm. A final dispersal order was given at approximately 8:43pm. Following refusals to disperse 7 protestors were arrested for charges including Property Damage, Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer and Refusal to Disperse. The arrested subjects were booked and later released from the St Charles Police Department. Officers will be seeking charges with the St Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. There were no injuries to any protestors or Law Enforcement Officers.
