If you don’t have time for 15 or 30 minutes of exercise, that’s okay. The more you exercise, the more energy you’ll have, so eventually you’ll feel ready for a little more. The key is to commit to some moderate physical activityhowever littleon most days. As exercising becomes a habit, you can slowly add extra minutes or try different types of activities. If you keep at it, the benefits of exercise will begin to pay off.

Let me introduce you to one of my favorite fitness tools...the Stamina Evo Roller! Foam rolling is sooo good for you! Technically, it is a type of self-myofascial release (or massage). It’s ideal for releasing tight muscles, connective tissue (fascia) and trigger points (sensitive points on muscles) with self-massage. Using a tool like this roller to apply pressure to these areas often helps relieve tight muscles and the cause of pain syndromes. Plus, you don’t have to ask yo...ur spouse or kids to help massage your muscles, you can do it yourself! Here’s a few of the most common ways to the use the Evo Roller, although there are endless options. Spend a few minutes in each of your trouble spots and use the dynamic movements to warm up and reacher a greater length. The EvoFocus Points are great for that static release over targeted trigger points. Remember, foam rolling can be uncomfortable but it shouldn’t cause you increased pain. If you don’t already own a plyo box, you should! Stamina offers a variety of box/step options that are great for total body workouts that require no other pieces of equipment! Whatever you use, you should be able to hold your body weight, stay stable, and be 16 to 24 inches tall. Try this 20 min circuit workout for 45:15 4 rounds. On single lunge, alternate legs each round. 1Box Jumps- chest centered over knees and drive through the heels... 2Step Up Lunge- watch knee alignment over foot 3Up/Down Plank- alternate arms and keep box stable 4Side Jumps- Launch upwards to provide a plyometric burst 5Push-Ups- maintain a plank as you push The great thing about a box workout is you can do it anywhere and modify to your level! An easy way to weight train at home is to divide the body into sections, including pushing and pulling days. Working the BACK with the BICEPS is a smart and efficient way to work your upper body. Since both muscle groups perform a pulling motion and the biceps are involved in most compound back exercises, training them together allows you to maximize your time. This is one of my favorite routines using supersets for BACK & BICEPS:... 1Full to 1/2 Bicep Curl (make sure you stop at 90 degrees)/ Double Row (Keep elbows in close and spine lengthened) 2Alternating Hammer Curl/Reverse Fly (squeeze your shoulder blades!) 3Shoulder Flexion w/BC (lift forward, then curl)/Wide Row (elbows pull upward) 4Externally Rotated BC (Elbows stay close)/ Plank Alternating Row (wide plank for balance) Perform and complete each super set 3 rounds x 10 reps. Maintain good posture and keep shoulders relaxed.
