As 2021 tax season approaches, we would like to remind everyone of a benefit offered by the #CARESAct. If the donor claims a standard deduction for their 2020 Income Tax Return, they may be able to deduct up to $300 for all cash donations made to qualifying charities. More information can be found by following the link below and as always - consult a tax advisor for aditional information. #nonprofit #charitablegifts

There’s no denying that the holiday season this year feels different. While that may be the case, Covid-19 will not stop St. Louis Altenheim from having some of the best decorations in the metro area. Huge shoutout to Beli and the maintenance team for decorating our facility to give some of that Christmas spirit to the residents and staff!! #covidchristmas #longtermcare

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Giving Tuesday campaign. We had a goal to raise $500; we are happy to say we surpassed it and raised $625!! We are encouraged by everyone's support during this year and we look forward to continuing the quality care we provide to our seniors living in our home for many more years to come!

We are proud to celebrate the brave men and women who have fought for our country. Today, our Life Enrichment Department hosted a Veteran's Day celebration for all of our staff and residents who are active military members or veterans. We are happy so many came to show support and demonstrate their love and respect for those that fought for our nation. ... #VeteransDay #longtermcare #celebration

"I would like to express my deepest condolences to Ms. Ivy Smiley's family, her coworkers, and the residents at St. Louis Altenheim. Smiley had the right nickname because she had a smile that would light up a room. She was so sweet and compassionate, with a little voice and a big heart. Ivy was one to never complain. Ivy's love for God and her faith was so strong. Ivy would lift my spirits up whenever we had a heart-to-heart talk; she will be truly missed. Ivy loved taking ca...re of her residents and was committed to helping and unconditionally loving others. Ivy fought a good fight; God was ready for one of his angels. I love you Ivy Smiley, thank you for your love and dedication." - Ruthie Holmes, Assistant Dietary Director St. Louis Altenheim #tribute #inmemoriam #oneofourown
