To My Favorite People, The elders have decided that because of the continued presence of Covid cases in our area, St. James Church will cancel all Sunday School classes for the next two Sundays and we only have worship services starting at 10:15 AM. As always the church will be open to anyone who wishes to come inside to worship. You must continue to do what you feel is best to protect yourself and your family. That being said, if you do not feel safe coming inside... the church, I encourage you to come to church and worship with us from outside in your car by listening to our service on the radio. I feel it is very important that we do not get in the habit of simply staying away from church particularly during these days of turmoil, both because of Covid and the upcoming election. Welcome to the St. James Evangelical Women's Guild fundraiser on October 5th at 7pm. All donations will go to the guild who then donates to those in times of need locally and globally. For those of you who might be interested in an At Home VBS program. For Friends and Family, Join Sarah and me LIVE @1pm as we lead a visual arts activity tomorrow. For those who missed the supply list I've included it below...... All of the items are things I hope you may just have around the house. - 1 FULL sheet of Cardstock paper (a piece of construction paper would work as well) - scraps of different colored construction paper and/or decorative papers - your favorite Bible verse or one that has a special meaning to you, printed out on paper (get creative with it and use some fun fonts!- this should be small enough to add to your artwork, but not overwhelm it in size.) - a photo of your face - glue (glue stick or bottled glue poured in a bowl and a Q-tip works great!) - scissors - sharpies - Optional- embellishments (ex. Buttons, craft gemstones, stickers, etc...)
