The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office would like to express our most sincere condolences to Clinton Police Department and Sgt. Derek Foreman in regards to the passing of K9 Officer Jhon. Clinton Police Department reports that K9 Officer Jhon served valiantly for over four years as an excellent drug detection dog, and in recognition of his service, is being served The Chief's Citation Award. Thank you for your service, K9 Officer Jhon.

PLEASE SHARE! *******Grinch Captured****** On December 24th, 2020, St. Clair County deputies managed to apprehend The Grinch on a Felony charge of Attempting to Steal Christmas. There was not a bond set, and The Grinch will stay in custody until after Christmas. ... The arrest was made after St. Clair County deputies responded to a call for service in regards to an individual conspiring to steal Christmas on Mount Crumpit. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with the Grinch, who claimed that he hated Christmas, and had intent on making sure that it was not celebrated this year. Sheriff Scott A. Keeler and the entire staff of St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office would like everyone to know that Christmas is safe this year, and that we wish you all a Merry Christmas!
