St. Clair County Library 14.12.2020

PLEASE NOTE: The St. Clair County Library will reopen to the public beginning Monday, December 7th. The Main Library in Osceola will be open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Lowry City Branch will be open Tuesday-Thursday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Programming, meeting space availability and regular hours will resume at a later date. Patrons not comfortable coming into the library, can utiliz...e our curbside services by: calling the Main Library-Osceola (417-646-2214) and the Lowry City Branch (417-644-2255) or by emailing requests to [email protected]. If you do not have a specific title in mind, the Library staff can select items for you based on your favorite author or genre. For a smoother process, please submit material requests before your arrival. When you arrive at the facility, call the previously mentioned phone numbers or ring the doorbell to let us know that you’re here. Due to recommended quarantine procedures, we do ask that all returned materials (except for hotspot devices) be placed in the book drops. If you’re under the weather or if you’re just not able to make to the Library, be sure to check-out our broad collection of digital resources. You will find that eBooks, audiobooks, movies, and databases are available 24/7 @ http://mostclair.lib.mo.us/. Don’t forget that our extended WiFi signal is available in the parking spaces directly in front of the Library. St. Clair County Library 30.11.2020

During the month of December, the St. Clair County Library will accept non-perishable food items and personal care items in exchange for late fees. Fines accrued due to items being lost or damaged are not eligible for this program. All items collected will be donated to the St. Clair County Food Banc. Questions? Even though the St. Clair County Library is currently closed to foot traffic, patrons can still use Library services though our curbside delivery option. But, did you know that you could also sponsor St. Clair County Foster Children Angel Tree ornaments via our curbside services as well?! To participate all you need to do is: select ornament(s) from the entrance door display located at each library facility (please note that the Lowry City Branch display will not be ready ...until Tuesday, November 24th.); have library staff pull the ornaments (this can be done by calling the Main Library-Osceola @ 417-646-2214 or Lowry City Branch @ 417-644-2255), ringing the doorbell for service, or by emailing: [email protected]; and returning unwrapped gift(s) by Thursday, December 10th. Hours of curbside service for the remainder of the week at the Main Library in Osceola will be as follows: Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Next week the Main Library in Osceola will offer curbside services Monday-Wednesday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Lowry City Branch will offer curbside services Tuesday-Wednesday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both facilities will be closed Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th in observance of Thanksgiving.
