From the PTO: Since we can't have an in-person Holiday Boutique this year, we're going to host a virtual event. We would like to feature as many school / parish families as possible. Do you have a business or hobby that you'd like to have mentioned? You would need to provide a link or address where people can shop. Contact Kate Schoellhorn at [email protected] as soon as possible. More information will be shared about the virtual event once we have a set plan.

Thank you to the more than 150 families who have responded to our survey about Christmas Mass plans. The survey will remain open until midnight tonight. We plan to open our Christmas Mass signups on November 16.

The Boy Scouts of Pack 104 will be hosting their semi-annual blood drive to benefit the American Red Cross on Sunday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in our Pari...sh Center. The Boy Scouts will not be taking donor names following Mass the weekends before the drive out of an abundance of caution related to COVID-19. Additionally, the drive will not allow for walk-in donors. All donors must make an appointment online at www.redcrossblood.org or on the Blood Donor App. Search for sponsor code StStephenP. Donors may call Scoutmaster Michael Lohff at 314-591-9575 if they have any issues registering online. For an explanation of current safety precautions at Red Cross blood drives, go to https://www.redcrossblood.org/don//share-your-health.html/ Thank you for giving the gift of life!

It's Giving Tree Time! Due to stay-at-home and quarantine orders, there has unfortunately been a rise in domestic violence cases. And the downturn in the econom...y has resulted in an increase in the number of families asking for food assistance. Since we have not all returned to church yet, we wanted to offer you some different options if you choose to participate in the Giving Tree program. The tree will still be in the back of church for you to pick a leaf beginning on Saturday, Nov. 7. You can place your donation under the tree as you have in the past. Or you can choose from the list below. Cindy Asinger will be on the bell tower parking lot on Sunday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. to collect your donations. Should you choose to donate a gift card, you can either drop it in the collection basket in an envelope marked Giving Tree, or you can mail it to Cindy, c/o St. Stephen, 3949 Wilmington Ave., St. Louis, MO 63116. Your sacrifice and generosity have always been appreciated by St. Martha’s Hall for Abused Women and Children and the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
