We have finished converting 91,500 square feet from ambient to refrigerated. These racks are ready to fill!

We've been working on the railroad... Did you know 9 of our underground buildings are rail served? Our sister company, www.umlautindustrial.com, receives, ships, unloads, and stores railcars. A great way to cut costs and get product from here to there and back again!

We are expanding our refrigerated space by over 400,000 square feet. Last week, Prestressed Casting installed the walls for a storm-hardened machine room which will hold the refrigeration equipment. We appreciate everyone adapting to work safely in these times and keep projects on track! The extra space can't be ready too soon, all of those trailers on the rail transloading lot are waiting for dock appointments to pick up food! We had a record number of trucks today to pick up and deliver food from our customers’ distributions centers. They were staged on every available surface and it was all hands on deck dispatching and parking them. Thanks to our team, customers, and truck drivers!

Springfield Underground is working to support our community, not just in food distribution, but also as a drop off site for donated PPE. These donations will support our neighbors working at Cox and Mercy.
