When it comes to comfort food, the Italians are world-famous. The Springfield Symphony kicked off its season of musical comfort food with an evening of Italian favorites including Mendelssohn’s delightful Symphony No. 4 Italian and Tchaikovsky’s sparkling Souvenir de Florence.

Spooky Symphony is TWO DAYS away!! We can't wait to see all of the spooktacular costumes in Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. A few reminders about this year's Spooky Symphony: - Doors open at 6:15 PM... - Performance begins at 7:00 PM - Tickets are required for admission - Tickets are no longer available for reservations at this time. - Masks are required due to Springfield's city mandate. - All entrances to Hammons Hall will be open. Please use the entrance that is closest to your parking spot to avoid congestion of the Box office entrance. - Congregating in the foyer and the lobby is highly discouraged. Please follow directional signage to your seats. - Spooky Symphony will be held without a costume parade this year due to maintain social distancing guidelines, but costumes are encouraged for attendees! - Hand sanitizer stations will be be widely available and enhanced cleaning protocols will be enforced. - Our audience will be dismissed by rows following the performance to avoid exit congestion.
